Resource Manager - Defence

Location: Gloucester or Romsey (2 days a week on-site)

12-month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 plus excellent benefits

One of our established clients are looking for a Senior Resource Manager to join them

Founded over 70 years ago, they're a British centre of excellence for world-class innovation and engineering. They're expertise in Defence but as the decades of innovation have rolled on they expanded into the National Security and Public Sector.

Their innovations can be found all over the world. From computer vision that powered the world's first autonomous landing of a drone at sea; to AI systems that drastically reduce aircraft turnaround times

As a Resource Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to senior leadership and provide advice on strategic resource management. You will work closely with the business to develop and implement business and people strategy, using your commercial mind-set and business acumen you'll be operational resourcing of people and skills within a technology-focussed organisation

They are looking for you to have experience in the following:

• Experience of operational resourcing in Professional Services, or a similar organisation
• Experience of working in Defence and/or National Security industries
• Significant experience of technology sector including exposure to Software Development, Cyber, AI & ML, DataScience and Systems Engineering professions
• Regarded as SME within stakeholder community and leads on defining approach to operational resourcing within the BU
• Experience of using Resource Management tooling/technology
