We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading international energy and services clients! They are currently looking for a skilled IFS Consultant to join their team for a six-month contract. (with scope to extend)

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

* Implementation & Configuration
Lead and drive the implementation of IFS Application, ensuring strategic planning, seamless installation, governance, and rigorous testing to meet client needs and industry standards
* Business Analysis
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Consultation and Support
Provide thought leadership and expert guidance to clients, delivering best practices in IFS usage to maximise asset management efficiency and business outcomes.
* Integration
Oversee the integration of IFS Applications with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability to optimise business operations and decision-making.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

* Technical Expertise:
o Deep understanding of IFS Applications and their modules, including customisation and configuration.
o Strong background of IFS system with ERP system integration and data flow management.
o Proficiency in ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Loading) processes for managing large datasets.

* Functional Expertise:
o In-depth knowledge of business processes across multiple departments (maintenance, assets, finance, HR, supply chain).
o Proven ability to design and implement solutions that improve business performance and asset management.

* Problem-Solving and Communication:
o Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
o Ability to articulate, manage stakeholders expectations, build reports, and powerpoints to present technical subject to senior stakeholders in simple yet sharp presentations.
o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning project goals with business expectations.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

* Experience in the Utility Industry.
* Certifications in database management (eg, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), programming, or IT infrastructure (eg, ITIL), knowledge of JD Edwards, SAP, Salesforce
* Experience in cloud (AWS, Azure)
* Prior experience in a consulting role, delivering tailored solutions and advisory services to clients.
