Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Social Work Team Co-ordinator for a Local Authority Client based in North London.
In this role, you will provide administrative and organisational support to social workers, helping them manage their caseloads effectively and ensuring that vulnerable children and families receive timely and coordinated care.
About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to social workers, including managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and minuting key discussions.
Create, maintain, and improve administrative systems to support the delivery of high-quality services to children and families.
Handle sensitive inquiries from service users, professionals, and partner agencies, ensuring urgent issues are escalated promptly.
Assist with safeguarding practices by contributing to Child Protection processes and ensuring compliance with child safeguarding procedures.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
Experience in an administrative role, ideally within a social care or similar setting.
Experience providing diary management support and taking accurate minutes during meetings.
Experience managing a busy workload and effectively handling competing priorities and deadlines.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
What's on offer:
Salary: £20+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
