We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and be able to manage projects across various sectors including Commercial, Leisure, Health, Education, Industrial and some Residential. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and make a real impact within our company.
Responsibilities
Manage and lead mechanical design projects from concept to completion
Develop and present proposals and reports to clients
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Utilize advanced CAD software to create detailed designs and drawings
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to optimize design processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering
Proficiency in advanced CAD software
Intermediate knowledge of Revit
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Prior experience working in the specified sectors is an advantage
Day-to-day
Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
Creating and presenting detailed design proposals to clients
Reviewing and revising mechanical designs based on feedback and technical analysis
Mentoring and providing guidance to junior engineers
Researching and implementing industry best practices to enhance design processes and project outcomes
Attending and participating in project meetings and design reviews to ensure alignment with client requirements and company standards
