JOB – Research and Development Manager
LOCATION – Great Yarmouth
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

My client is a leading manufacturer of innovative products used in sectors including Energy, Marine, and Industrial Engineering. They are looking for a Research and Development Manager to join their team in Great Yarmouth.

The Research and Development Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant Degrees (ie. Physics, Mathematics, etc)
5+ years of management experience in an R&D environment
Proven experience leading R&D projects from concept to completion
Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative mindset
Excellent leadership and team-building skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenThe Research and Development Manager role will involve:

Managing a multidisciplinary team to develop and improve new and existing products
Leading the innovation and development process from initial concept to market launch
Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth product development and delivery
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives
