Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a full-time SEND Support Assistant to work in local SEND school Monday- Friday based in Cheltenham, to start as soon as possible.

About the role

The role is working with children with challenging behaviour and other additional needs in a SEND school. The school is a supportive popular school in the area with small classes that caters for children of all ages with additional needs. The hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm and you must be able to work full-time, term time only.

The School is a mixed SEND School from the ages of 4 - 18 years. The school is fantastic at fostering relationships with students and families, allowing children to thrive in an inclusive environment. With a range of resources and equipment, pupils have access to a wide range of therapies and interventions to support their wellbeing.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEND Support Assistant you will:

Experience working with children or adults with SEND or challenging behaviour
Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.

Salary

£12.86 to £13 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
