Job Title: Registered Manager - Residential Children's Home
Location: Croydon, South London.

We're seeking a dynamic Registered Manager to takeover the running of our GOOD Ofsted 5-bed EBD home. Join us in making a real difference in the lives of children and young people!
You will be joining a leading Children's organisation with a mission to provide looked after young people with a safe and nurturing environment, one that promotes empowerment, independence and choice, while enhancing their core living skills, and ability to move across the care continuum into fully independent living.
The home is established, after opening in July 2023, with a strong team in place and received GOOD in all areas in their January 2024 inspection.

Requirements:
* Qualifications are essential, i.e., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, Children & Young People’s Services, or equivalent. Or a willingness to undertake training within 6 months of commencement of employment.
* At least two years' of experience supervising and managing professional staff in a residential children's setting.
* Sound knowledge and understanding of Children Homes regulation including Quality Standards 2015, The Children’s Homes (Amendment) Regulations 2011, Care Standards Act 2000, Ofsted and related legislation, and policies and procedures.
* Suitable to work with Children. A DBS Certificate is a requirement of the role.
