Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Deputy Registered Children’s Care Home Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of our care home. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents and will play a key role in staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and the development and implementation of care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Registered Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the care home.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Support, mentor, and supervise care staff.
* Help develop and implement individualized care plans for each child.
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents and staff.
* Liaise with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders.
* Assist in managing budgets and resources effectively.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care).
* Proven experience in a similar role within a children’s care setting.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.
* Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people.
