Full Stack Software Engineer - London - Up to £150k + Hybrid Working
Location: Central London
Office Days: 2-3 days per week in the office
Cititec Talent is working with a growing startup in the commodities trading sector that is looking for a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join their expanding team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions across the full stack. You will work from Back End to Front End, ensuring smooth integration and performance. Additionally, you will manage CI/CD pipelines, deploy infrastructure via cloud services, and utilise Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable Back End services in Python, while optimising PostgreSQL databases for efficient data management
- Develop responsive Front End applications using TypeScript and React, and streamline deployments through CI/CD pipelines
- Leverage cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure, using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform to deploy and manage services
- Create secure, scalable APIs and build robust data pipelines with technologies like Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Flink
- Ensure high performance and availability of cloud applications, adhere to security best practices, and work closely with cross-functional teams
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, utilising GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong experience in Python for Back End development
- Solid Front End development skills with TypeScript and React
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and cloud deployments
- Expertise in API development
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring and security best practices
- Experience with Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Flink
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases and Data Engineering
- Proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL
- Proficient in GitHub
