LAC Federal is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to provide project coordination and leadership for large-scale development projects, with a focus on data warehouse and data analytical tools. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in software development, project management, and implementation of advanced data solutions. The Lead Computer Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy complex data systems, ensuring the integration of cloud-based platforms such as Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).

Lead and manage the technical aspects of multiple large-scale development projects, from inception through implementation.

Oversee the design, development, and deployment of data warehouses and analytical tools, ensuring the solutions meet business requirements and performance standards.

Architect, design, and implement database solutions, including Cloud-based platforms such as PaaS and SaaS.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.

Ensure the integration and optimization of various software products and solutions including Oracle®, Oracle Data Warehousing®, SAS BI, Microsoft® SQL Server®, MySQL, Python, and R.

Develop, maintain, and optimize databases across multiple platforms, including Unix, Linux, Solaris®, and Windows®.

Utilize programming languages such as Perl, Java™, Oracle® PLSQL, C++, HTML5, .NET, and C# to create robust visual interfaces and applications for data management.

Mentor and guide a team of developers, providing technical oversight and ensuring best practices in software development.

Conduct code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.

Provide technical documentation and training to end-users and stakeholders as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a similar role, with demonstrated experience as a technical lead for large-scale development projects.

Strong expertise in database management systems, including Cloud-based solutions such as PaaS and SaaS.

Proficiency in a variety of software products and solutions, including Oracle®, Oracle Data Warehousing®, SAS BI, Microsoft® SQL Server®, MySQL, Python, and R.

Experience working with multiple platforms, including Unix, Linux, Solaris®, and Windows®.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, Java™, Oracle® PLSQL, C++, HTML5, .NET, and C#.

Proven experience in developing visual interfaces and applications for data collection, storage, display, and dissemination.

Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills.
