Ampsight is seeking a talented and dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer with TS/SCI eligibility to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security posture of our organization and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security solutions, perform risk assessments, and conduct security audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Security: Design, implement, and support security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.

Security Incident Response: Respond to and investigate security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats.

Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Security Audits: Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Security Architecture: Assist in the design and implementation of security architecture.

Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.

Security Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver security training programs to raise awareness and educate employees on best security practices.

Security Threat Intelligence: Monitor and analyze threat intelligence sources for potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity

TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility

Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and technologies

Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software

Experience with security incident response and vulnerability management

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Preferred qualifications:

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+

Experience with cloud security

Experience with network security technologies such as VPNs and IDS/IPS
