Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Are you a driven and ambitious professional looking to take your career to the next level? We are recruiting for a Experienced Business Development Executive to join our clients thriving team and to play a key role in expanding our client's customer network.
Duties:
• Maintain and build business relations with couriers, freight forwarders, HMRC and customs agents.
• The planning and arrangement of international consignments.
• Prepare and check shipping documentation for imports and exports.
• Monitor import and export shipments, retaining proof of deliveries.
• Obtain copies of all import and export declarations.
• Raise disputes for any inaccurate custom declarations.
• Ensure records of all import and export activities are kept up to date.
• Manage customs disputes.
• Ensure all tariff codes are up to date.
• Liaise with suppliers
• Keeping up to date with customs regulations and changes in procedures.
• Ensure that HMRC statements and certificates are accurate and dispute any discrepancies.
• Supporting the finance manager with any documentation required for VAT accounting.
• Supporting courier claims.
• Other administration duties as requested.
• Operate accounts worldwide, required to attend extubitions.
Experience and Skills:
Requirements:
You will need to be a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who thrives on building relationships and seizing opportunities.
Key Skills & Experience:
• B2B Sales Expertise: Preferably in the food or beverage industry.
• Exceptional customer service, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Account Manager experience
• A current, clean driving license is required.
• Experience operating accounts worldwide
• Experience attending extubitions
