Job Title: HGV Driver
Location: North London
Salary: £38k-£40k
Working hours: Mon-Fri - 4am-2pm (Alternative Saturdays – 8am-2pm)
Role Overview: Provide an efficient and high-quality service to customers by delivering goods on time and in a good condition, ensuring no damages or delays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out vehicle checks, ensuring it is safe and legally roadworthy by doing daily checks before and after each shift.
* Reporting any accidents, delays, or vehicle problems.
* Do checks on all goods prior to loading them, ensuring all documentation is complete.
* To maintain communication with superiors on any issues or customer queries, and to await further instructions.
* Maintain traceability reports of all work, rest and driving journeys.
Skills and experience:
* Full clean and valid driving license
* Good understanding of driving hours rules and vehicle compliance to road safety regulations
* Clean and valid category C licence
* CPC driver qualification card
* Valid tachograph card
