The Role:

You will play a pivotal role in developing students' reading, writing, and analytical skills, preparing them for success both in exams and in their future endeavors. Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum.

* Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.

* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates students to engage and succeed.

* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.

* Participate in extracurricular activities, such as book clubs, writing workshops, or school productions.

* Contribute to the wider school community, supporting its ethos and values.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or a related subject.

* Experience teaching English at secondary school level, with a thorough understanding of the UK curriculum.

* A passion for literature and language, with the ability to inspire students of all abilities.

* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.

* A commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to teaching.
