Expleo Engineering are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of our clients manufacturing plant, equipment and facilities whilst improving equipment reliability. This will be a permanent role, working a rotating shift pattern, based at our clients site in Warwickshire.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:

Carrying out repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner.
Assisting in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules.
Carrying out PPM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required.
Operating maintenance Fork Lift Truck and Elevated Working Platform as required.
Reporting breakdown root cause, equipment faults and concerns to management
Manufacturing spare parts as required using lathes, milling machines and welding equipment.

Background, skills and experience required for the Maintenance Technician role:

A Mechanical or Electrical based apprenticeship with City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Proven experience working with both relay logic and PLC control systems.
Extensive experience as a qualified maintenance / service engineer operating in an industrial environment (Preferably in the automotive sector).
Flexibility to work shift patterns, to include nights, overtime, weekends to support production.
