Due to recent expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen – Stock Control Administrator

Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 pa

Hours: core hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Monday to Thursday (7:00 to 16:00) and Friday (07:00 to 13:00).

Overtime: required to work additional hours when the workload dictates.

Location: Dartford

Benefits: 22 days annual leave (rising to maximum 27 days),

After probationary period, there will be a range of benefits such as eligibility to join the Company Pension Scheme, staff purchase discounts and death in service life cover.

The ideal Stock Control Administrator candidate will be proactive and enthusiastic to learn how the business stores and pick parts for final assembly. The role will be split between hands on picking etc and computer / admin work. Candidates must be physically git – there’s lots of stairs and walking/lifting involved.

Stock Control Administrator key skills and experience:

* High level of attention to detail, accurate data entry/stock counting is essential.

* Good computer skills including Excel

* Team player and good communication skills. Good IT skills and intermediate Excel

* Previous experience within a busy warehouse/stores environment is essential

* Ability or desire to drive CB Forklift trucks

* Desire/ability to deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required – team of 9

Stock Control Administrator duties and responsibilities:

* Maintain consistent stocking of the consumables daily.

* Update the “Portal” with a daily review of product shortages.

* Communicate between the Sales Team and Warehouse, with the delivery dates and requirement to pack the remaining parts on a pallet ready for external shipping of parts.

* Daily check all emails from “build support” with regards to product shortages. Investigate all claims and rectify when required including shipping the parts when required

* Take responsibility for delivering shortages internally and externally.

* Oversee the internal processes for the business from start to finish.

* On a daily basis, input and investigate any shortages found at first pick.

* Ensure stock management and stock levels are always correct.

* Carryout perpetual stock check, at least once a quarter

* Expectation to deputise for warehouse manager during absence
