Pay rates vary between £130 to £180 per day depending on experience
Love to teach but don't want to do another year of full plan and prep?
Want to make the switch into more flexible supply to allow you to work as much or as little as you like and take term time leave?
Required for this new academic year, a varitey of well respected mainstream primary school's in the Longbridge area, are looking for Primary Teachers who can work on a flexible supply cover basis, and assist with the daily cover demands of the day. This style of work allows you to let us know which days you are keen to work for the week, and we will offer what year group / key stage we have cover to work with each day.
As best as they can, schools will always try to pre-book in any supply cover they need the day before or a few days in advance, and we will aim to try and get you pre booked work as best we can, however there is sometimes unforeseen changes in there staffing levels, and things can happen quickly, and on the day cover is needed. Therefore we need Supply Teachers who are happy to be pre booked, but also be on call in the morning to go to local schools needing cover in your area ! (This area radius is set by you for your commuting preference)
If morning calls - Schools will ring us any time from 7am-8:30am letting us know their requirements for that day. That is when we would call you, our emergency cover supply teachers and offer you the work we have for that day.
*Most of the time you will be delivering lessons for the absent member of staff. Lessons will already be pre-planned and prepared , however you will just need to assist with marking at the end of the day. However if you are on a long term contract you may agree with the schools to help with planning.

Working in school hours (usually 8:30-3:30)
Meeting different schools allows you to build connections with other teachers and leadership teams in multiple schools. These connections can lead to future job opportunities.
No work to take home at the end of the day - Work life balance is ensured as you have the flexibility to take time off when needed and can better manage your workload and personal commitments.
All our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance.
