Shire Healthcare are recruiting a Director of Clinical Services to join and support a CQC rated GOOD adult Acute/PICU service in Nottinghamshire.
Role snapshot:
As part of the senior management team , you will be responsible for clinical services operation within the hospital. Ensuring high quality patient care is delivered is priority. You will also be responsible for successful implementation of therapeutic interventions being implemented to improve the overall operation.
Reporting into the Hospital Director, you will oversee clinical staffing, hold ownership of clinical department budgets, ensure clinical governance and promote positive and effective working relationships within the multi-disciplinary teams.
Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering career pathways to clinical staff, this includes talent mapping and succession planning.
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours , full time
Salary: £60,000 FTE
Experience required:
Candidates applying will hold accreditation/registration with the relevant body (this includes Nursing/Family Therapists/Psychotherapists/Psychologists/CBT Therapists and anyone with a health/medical background.)
You must hold a minimum of 5 years clinical experience and previous management experience. It would be desirable for applicants to have experience of working within Acute or PICU settings, however we also welcome applications from those with an interest/passion in working with complex mental health
