Class 1 personnel are working with a client to recruit HGV Class 1 drivers on a temporary basis to cover sickness, annual leave and heavy workload. Pay: depending on experience £17.00 to £19.00
Location: Bishops Stortford
Hours: varies start times from 0600 hrs.

DUTIES for the HGV Class 1 driver

Delivering and collecting materials with the assistants of a crane.
Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard.
Achieving operational targets and contractual KPI's.
Providing accurate daily information to enable an effective handover.
Ensuring a safe and productive workplace where the Company’s legislative and commercial obligations are met.
Assisting the site staff with making up and loading of vehicles.
Criteria for HGV Class 1 driver

Crane/Hiab/Moffett Licence/Knowledge. preferred not necessary
Full driver’s valid CPC and Tacho
Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines.
You should process well developed organisational skills and be able to demonstrate commitment to deliver consistent quality.
Good communication both verbal and written.
Excellent customer service skillsYou will need to have the following valid HGV licence, valid CPC and Tacho card. Desirable to have Moffett or HiAb
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 0600 hrs to 1600 hrs. Location: Bishops Stortford
