IMH Recruitment are seeking a Transport Manager on behalf of our client based in Sheffield.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the movement of vehicles, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulations.
Key Duties:
- Manage and coordinate transportation operations
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation processes
- Oversee the scheduling of deliveries and collections
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor driver performance and provide guidance as needed
- Liaise with our in house garage, suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve transportation issues
About You:
- Holder of a CPC
- Proficiency in IT systems, including Outlook
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics management
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Good driving skills and a valid driving licence
- Computer literacy with the ability to use relevant software
- Fluency in English for effective communication
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a transport or logistics setting
Hours and Pay
£35,000-£40,000 dependant on experience
Permanent Position
Hours 7-5 mon – Friday
