FINANCE ASSISTANT
POSTION : Finance Assistant
LOCATION : Hull
SALARY AND BENEFITS : £27K plus bonus and healthcare
THE ROLE : This role for a Finance Assistant will involve working 40 hours Monday to Friday in a friendly office environment. Flexible working within core hours is available. The successful candidate will have the ability to work accurately when processing large amounts of data. Part of your responsibilities will include processing invoices received through to entry stage, this includes using the various systems to cost and check invoices and will include subcontract and purchase ledger. Whilst Finance / Accounts experience would be useful we would also welcome applications from candidates who have a strong administrative background and can show a high level of accuracy when working to tight deadlines.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLOWWING :
Previous experience working in an office environment in either a Finance / Accounts or Administrative role
Excellent IT skills including experience of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint)
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a busy and demanding environment, whilst maintaining a high standard of accuracy
The ability to prioritise workloads and to work to a high standard of accuracy
The ability to maintain and develop good relationships with both internal (Commercial, Delivery and Support Teams) and external (Clients and Suppliers) stakeholders
Excellent communication and time management skills
