Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Religious Studies looking for an exciting new opportunity in Hackney? Join our dynamic team at a vibrant Secondary School & Sixth Form, where you can inspire and educate the next generation!

As a Teacher of Religious Studies, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons, fostering a love for learning, and helping students develop a deep understanding of various religious traditions and their impact on the world.

Religious Studies Teacher Responsibilities:

Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
Participate in school events, parent evenings, and professional development opportunities.
Religious Studies Teacher Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Religious Studies or a related field.
Proven experience teaching Religious Studies at the secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for educating young people about diverse religious beliefs and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Candidates must have QTS – without QTS, they will not be considered.

Candidates must have a Degree or PGCE in Religious Studies
