Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, catering to a diverse range of abilities and learning styles.
Student Development: Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for science.
Assessment & Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and use data to inform teaching strategies.
Curriculum Planning: Contribute to the development of the science curriculum, ensuring it is up-to-date and aligned with national standards.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and a focus on learning.
Extracurricular Activities: Engage in extracurricular science activities, such as clubs, trips, and competitions, to further enrich student's educational experiences.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications: A degree in a science-related subject and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are essential.
Experience: Previous experience teaching science in a secondary school setting is highly desirable. NQTs with a strong science background are also encouraged to apply.
Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Availability: Must be available to start immediately and commit to a full-time teaching role.
