Our client is a successful manufacturer based in Durham. They are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to report into the Group CFO, driving financial strategy and ensuring robust financial management. This position offers a competitive salary, benefits package and the opportunity to work within a supportive team that values collaboration.
About the Management Accountant
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
* Monthly management account analysis and reporting for individual entities.
* VAT returns
* Financial forecasting projects
* Point of contact for year-end compliance financial audits and tax analysis
* Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
* Collaborate with various departments to optimise financial processes and systems.
About You
As Management Accountant, you will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving financial performance.
Other requirements of the Management Accountant include:
* A professional accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA) is essential.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
