Job Description:
Provide Education are working closely with a school in Rotherham (S61), who are seeking a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing an inclusive and supporting learning environment to all students.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with students who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities - this is a great opportunity to work with smaller class sizes, or 1:1 with students.
Previous experience working with SEND students is advantageous, however, the right candidate must be supportive, engaging, helpful, and always have an enthusiastic approach towards teaching.
Responsibilities:
* Working 1:1 with children or in smaller groups.
* Supporting students on educational trips and visits.
* Helping students with special educational needs to develop their social, and academic skills.
* Fostering an inclusive, and positive, classroom environment.
Requirements:
* Right to work in the UK.
* A DBS check is required as part of the recruitment process. Provide Education can support you with a new application if required.
