About the Role

We are collaborating with exceptional SEN schools in Flitwick that provide specialized support for children with a wide range of educational, social, and developmental needs. These schools are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to help students reach their full potential through high-quality teaching and learning practices.

This education and training role will give you hands-on experience in challenging environments, helping you build foundational skills for your future career. Working with pupils who may display complex or anti-social behaviours, you'll gain essential experience in de-escalation techniques and supportive communication.

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Start Date: October

Location: Flitwick

Pay: £85 - £95 per day

Sector: Education and Training

Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am to 3:45 pm

Ideal for graduates aspiring to careers in Clinical Psychology, Youth Work, or Criminal Justice

Requirements:

Personal or professional experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
A caring, energetic, and enthusiastic approach
Ability to work effectively within a team alongside teaching and support staff
Willingness to assist with personal care, if required
Initiative and passion for supporting children and young people with special educational needsWhat You Need to Apply:

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK
Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification at Level 2 or higher
