Job Title: Diagnostic Vehicle Technician

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our team within the NHS. This role involves maintaining and repairing a fleet of vehicles, including ambulances, patient transport vehicles, and administrative vehicles, ensuring they remain in optimal condition to support 24/7 healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform comprehensive diagnostics, mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs.
* Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks in line with manufacturer specifications and Health & Safety regulations.
* Utilise diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot and resolve complex vehicle issues.
* Liaise with suppliers for parts and equipment procurement.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
* Mentor and support junior technicians and apprentices.
Requirements:
* IMI Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of diagnostic equipment and software.
* Experience with mechanical and electrical systems in vehicle maintenance.
* Full driving license with C1/D1 categories.
* Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential.
