A well-established solicitors' firm is currently at the start of a major rewrite of its internal processing systems and web client, and are looking for a Mid-Level .NET Developer to join their team. Working directly with a lead developer and one other developer, you will play a key role in rebuilding the firm’s core systems from the ground up, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and user-friendly.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project that will significantly modernize the firm’s technology infrastructure, streamlining processes and improving client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the lead developer to design and develop new internal systems and a web client using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET).
* Assist in the complete rewrite of the firm's processing systems, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
* Collaborate with the small development team to create technical solutions that meet the firm’s business needs.
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to industry best practices.
* Debug and resolve software defects, troubleshoot issues, and improve system reliability.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Experience:
* 2+ years of experience in .NET development with strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and related Microsoft technologies.
* Experience working with databases, including SQL Server and Entity Framework.
* Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
* Proven ability to collaborate within small teams and contribute to large-scale projects.
* Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
