Description
As a Finance Manager reporting to the Financial Director and working alongside an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Manage the company's financial planning and budgeting processes
Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department
Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
Develop plans for financial growth and analyse market trends to maximise profits
Supervise a team of accountants to ensure smooth financial operations
Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepanciesProfile
Have completed AAT or be qualified by experience
Excellent organisation skills and a hands-on approach, with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently
Proven experience in a managerial role within the finance department
Strong knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
Proficiency in accounting software
Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented attitude
