A well known housing association based in the West Midlands are looking for an experienced surveyor who specialises in damp & mould cases.
Client Details
This client are a well known housing associated who carry out a wide range of repairs/maintenance works within their specialist teams across the West Midlands housing stock.
Description
Your role will involve:
Performing comprehensive pre- and post-inspection surveys to identify and assess potential or existing disrepair, damp, or mould issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
Developing detailed schedules of works utilising NHF Schedule of Rates, focusing on the prevention and remediation of repair issues.
Maintaining precise and thorough records, ensuring all necessary certifications are obtained and documented for completed works.
Managing and supporting the damp and mould complaints caseload, providing technical reports that demonstrate actions taken to achieve satisfactory outcomes for the client and its tenants.
Collaborate closely with the Contract Management team and other departments to deliver a high-quality, efficient repairs service.
Profile
Ideally you will already have experience working in a similar role, working with schedule of rates (NHF), experience working to tight deadlines/time scales, good understanding of legislation and H&S, fire safety and CDM regulations.
You will also ideally have a HHSRS qualification or be willing to work towards one.
Experience working within Damp & Mould would be ideal for this role to be able to hit the ground running.
