I am working with one of the region’s leading principal contractors, known for their successful projects across the Logistics, Industrial, Healthcare, and Education sectors. This company offers stability and the opportunity to work on new builds, fit-outs, and refurbishments valued up to £20m.
The Opportunity:
My client is seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will manage electrical contracts from initial brief through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of electrical works across multiple sites.
* Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring all electrical installations meet standards and regulations.
* Maintain communication with clients, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
* Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations through regular inspections.
* Manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Provide technical input and resolve electrical issues during project delivery.
* Report regularly on project progress to senior management and clients.
What My Client is Looking For:
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing electrical projects in commercial and industrial sectors.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation, with relevant management qualifications.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industry regulations.
* Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams and subcontractors.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
