SENCO Vacancy in Redbridge - Part time
About the role:
Are you a qualified SENCO looking for a new challenge in Redbridge? Do you want to work in a Secondary School with a supportive and inclusive ethos? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
We are working on behalf of a friendly and Secondary school in Redbridge. The school has a strong commitment to supporting children with SEMH and behavioural difficulties. The school is looking for a temporary, long-term SENCO to join their team immediately. You will be responsible for leading and managing the provision of SEN across the school, working closely with the headteacher, staff, parents and external agencies. You will also have some teaching duties, depending on your availability and preferences.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• QTS and the National Award for SEN Coordination (or working towards it)
• Experience of working as a SENCO or in a similar role
• Knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and relevant legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to inclusion and diversity
