PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Senior Estimator to Join their Pre-Construction team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Cambridgeshire and will involve working within Residential groundworks Projects.
Senior Estimator Roles and Responsibilities
Making initial contact with clients to confirm accept or decline of tender.
Assisting in producing take-offs and cost database for analysis by others
Calculate the cost of materials, transport, labour and plant hire.
Undergo regular site visits to understand the process/ timings and sciences of estimating including the realization of the labour/ plant and material aspect of any given construction process.
Keeping up to date with inflation and projected timescale costs.Senior Estimator Requirements
Ideally a minimum of 3 years experience working as an Estimator within the area.
General Knowledge of contractual terms within the construction industry.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft packages including Excel
Effective communicator - Both written and verbal
Skilled Negotiator with strong mathematical ability
