Key Requirements

Project manage complex products from quotation to launch
Management of multiple suppliers of tooling and capital ensuring timing and cost targets are met
Launch of new products and processes into the business ensuring time and cost target are met
Development of comprehensive timing plans in line with customer milestones
Generation of PFMEAs, control plans and standard operating instructions to support both pre-production and production processes
Design, develop, specify and source key manufacturing equipment
Ensure products, process and materials are safe and complete health and safety documents as required
Support product design in the development of the components ensuring best in class design for manufacture
Production of workbooks to generate accurate cost estimates to support commercial
Management of equipment installation and contractors
Preferred Skills and Experience:

Degree qualified in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
Knowledge of headliner manufacturing and assembly
Exposure to manufacturing lines highly reliant on IT systems
Significant experience in a relevant role within a 1st tier automotive supplier, preferably within a just in time environment
Experience of Six sigma / Lean manufacturing processes
