Payroll Manager, £40-£45,000+

An award winning accountancy practice is recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join their Ellesmere Port office

To be considered you should have payroll experience either from another accountancy practice or bureau as well as management experience. They can offer hybrid working, 2 days working from home, flexible working and many other benefits.

Duties:

* Be responsible for the management and support of the Payroll Team and its' performance.

* Manage a portfolio of medium to large sized multiple client payrolls and the day-to-day administration; including RTI submissions, processing end of year forms and auto-enrolment.

* Prepare both weekly and monthly client payrolls, including data input, reconciliation, payslip generation and client reporting.

* Provide technical client support on payroll, PAYE and some basic employment matters.

* Liaise with third parties such as HMRC and pension providers on behalf of clients.

* Have regular communication with clients both over the phone and face-to-face.
