What you'll do:

As an Exposure Management Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing accumulation reporting primarily for cyber and upstream energy sectors. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing exposure management support for various data initiatives. You will collaborate with underwriting teams, helping them with queries regarding accumulations and modelling requests. Your role will also involve developing relationships with key stakeholders, understanding data workflows into Exposure Management, and supporting the development of improved reporting processes through automation.

Manage accumulation reporting in a timely fashion mainly for cyber and upstream energy to support business decisions.
Provide exposure management support for data initiatives.
Provide input to view of risk development following data analysis and research.
Collaborate with underwriting teams to help queries regarding accumulations and modelling requests.
Work towards becoming a subject matter expert in key lines of business.
Liaise closely with key underwriting teams on exposure management issues.
Develop relationships with key stakeholders as required.
Improve knowledge of Underwriting team practices and how data is used/captured.
Understand data workflows into Exposure Management and how they are used.
Support in the development of improved reporting processes via automation.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Exposure Management Analyst position will be a graduate from Maths, Physics or Computer Science disciplines. Experience in an analytical or data handling role would be beneficial, as would knowledge of the insurance industry. You should have strong MS Excel skills, along with experience in data manipulation. Familiarity with coding languages such as SQL or Python would be desirable. In addition to these technical skills, you should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be numerate, accurate, self-motivated, organised, and analytical.

Graduate (preferred subjects - maths/Physics/Computer Science)
Experience of working in an analytical/data handling role is beneficial
Experience/knowledge of Insurance desired.
Strong and proficient MS Excel skills
Data manipulation skills are essential
Experience with a coding language SQL/Python desirable
Verbal and written communication skills
Numerate
Accuracy
Self-motivated and used to acting on own initiative
Organisation skills
Analytical
