We are recruiting for a RF Engineer on contract to work for a leading Defence organisation. The role can be based in their Stevenage or Bristol offices. The 37 hour working week is condensed to 4 days per week.

Responsibilities:

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing RF Group supporting the Electronic and RF testing of some of the most exciting projects in the defence industry.

We need an Electronics Engineer to support various tasks including testing, component level assembly and rework. Ideally you'll have exposure/bias towards RF technology across the full product life cycle.

Most importantly you will be a good team player and willing to play your part in a high performing and welcoming team.

Skillset/experience required:

• Ideally, Degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience in electronic design, development and delivery; preferably in defence or related industry.
• Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team with the awareness and understanding of the challenges that this may bring.
• Knowledge of a wide range of electronic technologies and products
• Familiar with RF circuits and components across a wide range of frequencies
• Practical skills - soldering, fault finding and RF component level assembly
• Use of RF Laboratory Test Equipment - Spectrum Analysers, VNA's, Power meters
• Ability to use CAD software such as KiCAD or ORCAD
• Good communication skills with the ability to produce high quality written reports and presentations to internal and external customers.
