As a 3rd Line Manager, you will bring advanced expertise in leadership, handling technical escalations, and providing support. Your daily responsibilities will include managing the team, driving its development, fostering collaboration, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

We are looking for a Technical Team Manager or Team Lead with strong expertise in networking, security principles, and related technologies to take on this role.

Responsibilities -

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of third-line network engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
  • Offer guidance and support to team members, helping them grow professionally and ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, and identify opportunities for skills development or training.
  • Oversee and optimize workload reporting and monitoring through Exponential-e's ITSM platform.

Must Haves:

  • Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices, including Firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Demonstrable knowledge at CCNP or JNCIP (MANDATORY)
  • Strong experience with reporting using ServiceNow
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and architectures (eg, TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF).
  • Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks
  • Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices, including Firewalls, VPNs, and IPS/IDS
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop technical teams effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
