Job Overview: As a DevSecOps Engineer - Infrastructure, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure solutions that meet our clients' needs in high-stakes environments. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, innovative problem-solving skills, and a passion for automation and DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage infrastructure systems using zero-trust architectures and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and PackerIO.
• Lead the full life cycle of infrastructure components, from design and implementation to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable tasks.
• Administer Linux and Windows operating systems within complex, large-scale environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Manage containerized and virtualized environments, leveraging technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare, and OpenShift.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies using tools like Jenkins, Concourse, or cloud-native alternatives.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices in infrastructure design, automation, and security.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems in large-scale environments.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (eg, Terraform, Ansible) and Scripting languages (eg, Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Demonstrated experience in virtualized or containerized systems management using VMWare, Docker, or similar technologies.
• Strong background in CI/CD processes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Proven track record of designing and managing secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience working within secure, highly regulated environments requiring DV clearance.
• Familiarity with zero-trust principles and secure software architecture design.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Location: Hybrid working model with the flexibility to work on-site as required. Candidates must be willing to undergo security clearance due to the sensitive nature of the projects.

Salary: £40,000 to £80,000, dependent on experience.
