Job Title: Quality Inspector
Permanent - Up to £35,000 per annum + benefits (4 day working week)
Job Purpose:
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining quality control throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring it aligns with both business standards and customer expectations. Your work will directly support the delivery of high-quality products across all stages of production.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
*Inspect and verify parts at various stages within the business
*Perform first article inspection reporting (FAIR)
*Manage non-conformance processes for both suppliers and customers
*Conduct root cause analysis and resolution, including part rework
*Collaborate with the team to meet quality and production targets
*Support the integration of quality processes into the manufacturing cycle
*Act as an approved signatory for releasing quality-related processes
Experience and Skills Required:
*Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
*Hands-on experience with first article inspections (FAIRS)
*Experience in quality control, preferably within ISO 9001 frameworks
