We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced PE Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students in Key Stage 3 and 4, particularly those with Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia, ensuring they have a positive and successful learning experience in physical education and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia, during PE lessons.
Work closely with the PE teacher to implement individualised learning strategies that enhance student engagement and progress.
Support the delivery of lessons, adapting tasks as necessary to meet the diverse needs of students.
Assist in managing challenging behaviours by applying effective behaviour management strategies.
Promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being, fostering an inclusive environment.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to reports and reviews.
Communicate regularly with teaching staff, parents, and SEN coordinators regarding student progress and areas for development.

Requirements:

Experience working with KS3/KS4 students with special educational needs, specifically Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia.
A solid understanding of strategies to support teaching and learning for students with SEN, particularly in a physical education setting.
Strong behaviour management skills, with the ability to implement and maintain positive behaviour strategies.
Confident, patient, and adaptable, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
A passion for physical education and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

Desirable:

Experience working in a school environment or within an educational setting.
