Masterclass Education are working with a vibrant and inclusive SEN college dedicated to providing exceptional education to students with special educational needs (SEN).

They are committed to nurturing every student's potential, offering personalised support, and preparing them for a successful future. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS5 Teacher to join their fabulous team. The college currently resides over 2 sites (Worthing and Shoreham) and you would be required to work at the Worthing site.

Role Overview:

As an KS5 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality
education to students aged 16-18 with diverse special educational needs. You will be
responsible for creating a supportive learning environment, tailoring the curriculum to
individual needs, and fostering both academic and personal growth. This role offers an
exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people as they
transition into adulthood.

Key Responsibilities:
 Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of
students with SEN at KS5 level.
 Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) for each student,
ensuring their educational goals are met.
 Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to provide
comprehensive support for students.
 Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to
ensure continuous improvement.
 Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation,
engagement, and positive behaviour.
 Provide pastoral care, helping students build social skills, self-esteem, and resilience.
Qualifications and Experience:
 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
 Experience teaching students with SEN, particularly at KS5 level, is highly desirable.
 Strong understanding of various special educational needs and effective teaching
strategies.
 Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
 Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting young people with diverse needs.
