Working as part of the Operations team within a fast paced, short shelf-life product arena, the opportunity of Production Shift Manager will positively manage a team on shift and work closely with colleagues to ensure efficiency across all production lines within the packhouse.

As a key member of the packhouse operations, responsibilities will include;

Management of Line Leaders to ensure successful daily output, meeting targets and packing efficiencies

Identify training requirements and action as appropriate, conduct appraisals and develop direct reports

Manage agency staff requirements, alongside other Managers, to ensure the required numbers are confirmed and implemented

Ensure a centre of excellence approach, engaging with and coordinating continuous improvements

Adherence to SOP’s, Product Specifications and Health & Safety procedures

Experience required:
Fresh Produce / Food Production / Packhouse / Packing environment
Successfully managed a team, with a positive and encouraging approach
