We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting children’s development and helping them reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, including those with additional needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD).
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and tailored lessons.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote learning strategies.
Support students with personal care needs, if required.
Requirements:
Experience working with primary-aged children in an educational setting.
Knowledge or experience of working with children with special educational needs (SEN), particularly ASD, is highly desirable.
A caring and patient attitude, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required.
