Job Title: Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3)
Salary: £20k-£26k
Location: SW18, London
Reports to: Room Manager, Deputy Manager, Nursery Manager, Directors
Role Purpose:
Assist in the daily operations of the assigned room, ensuring high-quality learning experiences and meeting children's developmental needs in a stimulating and safe environment.
Qualifications:
* Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification (required)
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, structured activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Maintain legal child-staff ratios and ensure close supervision during meal times, adhering to dietary requirements.
* Create an inviting, educational environment with well-displayed children's work.
* Build strong partnerships with parents, sharing children's progress and supporting smooth transitions.
* Keep accurate records of children's development, plan learning steps, and support inclusive practices.
* Follow safeguarding and health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
