Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Remote | Rare travel to Hertfordshire
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000

Xpertise Recruitment are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join a market-leading organisation in the ’tech for good’ space to help modernise their core applications. This role focuses on enhancing a customer-facing web application through innovative technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and support complex production changes.
Collaborate with engineering leadership to drive technical innovation.
Improve engineering efficiency and processes.
Mentor and coach junior engineers.
Desirable Skills:

4+ years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in in C#, .NET core, Entity Framework, and SQL.
Excellent experience working in .Net environments.
Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Skilled in Git source control and RESTful API design.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and Agile methodologies.
Nice to have:

Understanding of Winsforms development.
Knowledge of software architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), and cross-platform engineering.
Lead experience or a strong desire to move in that direction.
