Sue Ross Legal have a unique opportunity for a talented and experienced Locum Employment Solicitor to support our client’s Employment and HR Services department.
This is a fantastic Locum opportunity to join a multi-accredited firm, which has been long established in Sheffield. As one of the leading practices in the region, the firm has built an enviable reputation for forging successful professional relationships and providing exceptional client care.
The role entails pro-actively managing a varied caseload of employment matters and undertaking a leading role in the development of the department. The successful candidate will also contribute to the wider business objectives in line with the business strategy, vision and values of the firm.
Responsibilities will include
* Representing both employers and individuals on a broad range of matters including attending tribunals
* Undertaking advocacy as appropriate
* Delivering practical and tailored employment and HR advice
* Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
* Developing a marketing strategy for the department and undertaking business development initiatives
* Supervising the provision of employment and HR services for the department
* Delivering training to the wider department, including briefings and updates.
Candidates should be qualified solicitors and possess excellent and comprehensive employment law knowledge and have demonstrable experience of Business Development. The ability to demonstrate sound technical knowledge together with exceptional client case and excellent communication skills is essential. Knowledge and experience of working with Case Management Systems and ELA membership would be beneficial.
