Vehicle Technician requried for a Used Car Supermarket in Rugby
Salary £42k basic
Working hours 47.5 hours a week – 2/4 Saturdays as overtime • 7am – 5pm (weekdays) • 7am – 12pm (Saturdays)
We are looking for a fully qualified Technician to join a Used Car Supermarket in Rugby.
Vehicle Technician - The Duties:
* Utilising your mechanical knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including clutch replacement and cam belt replacement.
* Effectively and productively repair vehicles from brake pads and tyres to oil and filter checks.
* Complete minor electrical work as and when required.
* Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical & vehicle diagnostics.
* Working against set parameters to inspect the mechanical condition of vehicles.
* Performing technical vehicle assessments.
All Employees:.
* To participate in any one-to-one discussions, if necessary, and any subsequent conversations to review performance and objectives.
* To attend training when required.
* To have a flexible approach to the hours you are required to work.
* To be fully aware of and adhere to the health and safety regulations concerning your employment and promote a safe environment for yourself, your colleagues, and our customers.
* To arrive for work at the correct time in the appropriate uniform making sure that it is in immaculate condition.
