Job Description
The delivery driver is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of construction materials to predetermined customers and clients. Review orders before delivery to verify order accuracy, loading and unload trucks, providing exceptional customer service to our clients, and assisting with basic shipping and receiving duties. This position requires the ability to pass an MVR to be insured under the KENDELL insurance policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct vehicle inspections before departing to deliver materials
Pack and load construction materials on to trucks according to company specifications
Unload materials on site in designated areas specified by the customers/clients
Deliver to designated sites including: job sites, construction zones, drop off sites, and other Kendell facilities
Review deliveries with customers to ensure materials/orders are accurate and not damaged
Maintain communication between internal staff and customers
Communicate with internal and external staff to problem solve any discrepancies with shipments
Communicate schedules and delays to customer/clients and internal staff
Obtain delivery confirmations form each customer/client
