Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year

Responsibilities include:

Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts

Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax planning strategies

Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities

Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements

Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documents

Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior tax associates

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

CPA Certification preferred

Experience level:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field

Strong knowledge of financial concepts and securities law

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks

Experience with financial planning and analysis

Familiarity with payroll and sales tax regulations

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed

Extended hours during tax season

Ability to commute/relocate:

St. Louis, MO 63119: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

Tax experience: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

CPA (Preferred)
